Not that I mind it, but I wonder why specifically they keep gravitating to Asian-American. And is she always intended to be half-Japanese? I forget if Landis specifically narrowed it down. Alice Lee in MAWS is Korean.

If you're writing a story about an Asian-American teen girl who has ambitions to become a star reporter, that's great - but you're creating a whole new character, so why make her be Lois Lane? Originally Posted by Hypo
