I actually didn’t hate this.
I still have concerns about the dialogue she uses for Betsy but some of the stuff in this issue was interesting.

I...kinda liked it. I like how Betsy was presented in this issue.
I agree with this. Although I don't like TH's version of Betsy. Betsy did sound more confident and assertive in this issue.
She did. And also very intelligent and also lady like.
I thought this was a good read. An interesting first issue. I'll enjoy it even more when we get confirmation this is a limited series only.
I'm not super in love with Betsy as CB and the art, even though very expressive and dynamic, is not sophisticated enough for me. Still a little bit childish like it was the case with To's.
But, yeah, good start. I hope all characters get to shine.
A picture would last longer darling...
I’m still kvelling over Captain Bretland’s arrival. Her Pegasus was divine.

Olivia Rodrigo's dress at the Met Ball (and butterflies) made me wish this was Betsy's Hellfire Gala look. I would love purple butterflies instead of the Krakoa flowers.
Omg! I don't give Tini much credit with her writing Betsy, but I DO gotta give credit where credit is due..."ambitious little Courtney". Oh snap crackle and POP. SHE PULLED OUT THE MISS ROSS BOSS MOVE!!! Suck on that Saturnyne.
The issue was cute but I hope we get a some one on one fight scenes from Betsy in KoX. I've been reading Howard's Catwoman and she has Selina tussling on a regular basis. I get why the team is always jumping into these big siege type battles but I still want to see their individuality in the process. The action always moves so quick because it's just the team jumps in they're running away two pages later. An illusion or three would be nice.
I also wouldn't mind the book taking on a more urban fantasy setting as opposed to the high fantasy we've been getting once the dust settles. I like Otherworld a lot and I want to see more of it affecting the real world and how Betsy navigates those threats. It doesn't necessarily have to be in London since she doesn't care about the UK but I definitely want her traveling around the MU as CB more.

That time Betsy took out the Nasty Boys by herself.
Miss Braddock if ya nasty.
