I thought that the new series is a remake. Does it pick up from season 5?

My point is that they would prioritise keeping things simple and not adding Revanche into the equation. If she shows up again, that is. It's been 30 years since TAS was launched and the Jim Lee designs remain the most recognisable looks for the X-Men.

I don't expect any mention of Betsy if they establish Kwannon as Psylocke.

They can just make it ambiguous and include a Psylocke without mentioning her name and origin (though it was obviously Betsy in the 90's series).

I'm hoping the same! He usually does for the X-ladies. He's done a tone for Jean, Storm , Lorna...

edit: I hope he includes, Outback, Jim Lee, Revanche, Uncanny X-Force, Anka suit, Disassembled and the CB.

As for the cartoon, I doubt Marvel will let Psylocke be Betsy in 97! After all the effort they put to establish Kwannon as Psylocke, I think their first X-Men product will follow suit. And I'm fine with that if they make her clearly Kwannon, with her proper origin and black hair...

and then at one point they introduce Betsy as CB or as just Betsy, powerful telepath with pink tk constructs and twin sister of Brian.
