Last up for my #HellfireGala #Partycrashers series- the winner of the last poll #Moonknight and his date #Arána(aka-#Spidergirl). Both sporting fits the Harken back to alternative looks they’ve had in the past.

Far in the future, there's these two characters hunting down Ra's seeds of insanity. She's a priestess of Khonshu, and he's a knight. A witch and a knight, in space, hunting demons. I don't think there's much more to read into it, but I'm really tired and can't think too hard. It felt a lot like something made by Tsutomu Nihei. A lot lot. Or a little like Katsuhiro Otomo's work, too. I wonder if these two were looking for that feel.

The art on the Hickman story hindered my enjoyment of that short story, the first one in the book.
The second story by Murewa Ayodele was for me the best story of the three with Spider-man and a nice cheeky cameo at the very end.
The third story Guggenheim was also good.

    Looking forward to issue #2

Bacholo's art does not work in a black and white setting. It's not that great in color either, but better than black and white. Story wasn't bad, but art ugh. 2nd story was great and the last couple of panels were awesome. #rd story just start on the last page & read backwards, liked that story as well.

Yeah I usually love Bacholo, but it was so hard to understand what was happening in some panels.

    Moon Knight #11 (5/25/2022 release)

Solid penultimate issue to what I feel is going to be a closure to the Zodiac story(for now depending on how things go I suppose).
I liked the Tigra and Marc conversation, clearing that air.
Surprised at Hunters Moon being captured, yet also not since Marc is THE Moon Knight.
So did Khonshu open a portal for Marc? Is that what happened in those closing pages that allowed him to get there in time. Also, the "cost" was left ambiguous. No doubt something McKay can/will utilize later.

A shortcut through the overvoid is my guess.

I loved this latest issue. It made me want to hug Marc for years and then, I loved his mate roles too. And the art was sooo pretty too.

It would be cool if he gatecrashed as Steven Grant.

For me, it was that (Soldier buying time), but it could be either way, really. I mean: Khonshu opened a portal to skip distance and reach there faster.

Moon Knight: Black, White & Blood #2

I enjoyed all three stories. Toss up between the first one and third one for my favorite. Liked that Marlene was in there, she has largely been pushed to the side so the nostalgia in me enjoyed her appearance.
I can't say I know any of the writers well enough to even recall who wrote what, I just enjoyed all 3 reads.

Who else has read this issue as an appetizer for next weeks MK #12 where Jed is going to wrap up things with Zodiac....for now. Unless MK kills him, which I hope he doesn't. I feel that would look poorly to T'Challa and hurt his probation type thing he has going.

One thing problem about the D+ series, it's that Marvel can't decide whether they should make Marc Spector Jewish or not. It seems to be clear that the actor who portrayed the character is Latino but yet has no clue to address whether Moon Knight needs to tie in with his ethnicity. It's best to drop out about this case cause I don't really enjoy the take of Marc Spector in the show because sometimes there is moment where he acts like Moon Knight and there are times it wasn't.

While I am okay with the retcons of his origins and backstory, I still prefer Marc Spector from the comics since his personality take look more interesting than in the D+ series.
