It was from Amazons Attack and the way it was revealed was clumsy and nonsensical. It only seemed to be done to momentarily make Grace side with the Bana. It also doesn't explain why Grace has powers since the Bana don't.

All in all, it's just a poorly thought out retcon and it's clear that isn't what Grace's creator intended for her.

Yeah but even good things can come out of terrible events. Comics have always been an exercise in looking for diamonds in the rough.

I like the addition of an Asian character to WW mythology and thought it made Grace a richer character and set her apart from Caitlin Fairchild. My main disappointment is that they haven't done more with the concept.

Is this to be read that in Diana's ideal world, she and Artemis are very....close? Even in a chaste way, that's freaking adorable. If this has more of a queer reading behind it, I am living! This is so wildly in contrast with the DCU relationship which is quite taut, even if they view each other with immense respect.
