Cautiously interested. Pak has gone back to the Planet Hulk well a couple times and it’s had diminishing returns, but he’s still one of Hulk’s best writers. I’ll check this out.

I think my biggest concern is that, after reading the synopsis a few times, it might not be Banner.

That would definitely curb my interest.

I agree that the follow-ups to the Sakaar storyline didn't land quite as well, but they're in the rearview mirror now and I'm sure lessons were learned.

Why are there sentinels in the cover? When is this happening?

It's 1000 years in the future... so the Sentinels being there actually doesn't make sense.

Makes sense for Amadeus to be still alive. He may be called Brawn now, but he's still a Hulk, and Hulks are functionally immortal, right?

My guess is they arrived through one of the portals to Sakaar and are being used by the antagonists there.

Kind of wonder if this and the Joe mini are being done perhaps to tie in to She Hulk on Disney+.



A Merged/Professor mini would be interesting; apart from a brief cover appearance he was absent from Immortal Hulk. Most we've seen of him lately was a small bit in Maestro and probably The Last call one-shot.

This looks interesting. I'm glad to see Sakaar again and I hope this mini can live up to its namesake. Hulk in his gladiator armor is his best look IMO.

Maybe Pak is making use of the Sentinels being able to travel into space from Thomas/Adams X-Men.
