Didn’t check but it feels like they are building her up with this and X-men 92! They might have plans for her and maybe are going to either bring Shogo along or kill Shogo to give Jubilee some kind of mission

It will come into play again. It was used twice in Excalibur and not using it more would earn Tini a place on those lists of adonden storyline or forgotten plots.
