Man… seeing that retro Marvel Legends Apocalypse figure that was just announced, I cannot help wanting a retro Cable in this crazy ass outfit from back in the day…

That would be one Cable figure I’m not spending money on, but I’d probably get his sword off of eBay at some point so that my OG Cable can hold it. F@%$ Kid Cable.

I actually really liked Kid Cable’s costume. Kind of wish the adult version had kept it and just traded in the Small for an XL size of the same outfit and kept rocking it.

You know, with these retro “first appearance” figures they’re putting out now, I wouldn’t be surprised if the next Marvel Legends Cable figure is actually a throwback like that fake mock-up I posted above. Seems like the Kid Cable era is one that Marvel is kind of sweeping under the rug now, as it was a failed experiment. Confined to the same place in X-lore as “noseless Wolverine.” LOL.
