Just a quick question, I've just picked up X of Swords volume 1 and 2 and the new Cable volume 2 and Sword. Where should I read the Sword volume? Is it set before or after X of Swords. Also, X of Swords is so confusing seeing as I've barely followed the world for several years...

The last couple of issues of S.W.O.R.D. comes after X of Swords. And it's adult Cable.

I like the streamlined look for Cable. And am also very excited for X-men Red.

Hope he gets an updated costume. Maybe something that harkens back to his classic look, like so…



I always loved that look from X-Tinction Agenda, with the blue vest and gray pants and the spiked gauntlet on his wrist. Would look cool next to Storm, with her spiked shoulder pads and whatnot.

That look would also work if the appearance of his T-O arm was permanently changed, and it looked like it did in the final issue of S.W.O.R.D. All techno-organicky / transmode virus-like, colored black with blue highlights. That would work well with this costume’s color scheme IMO. Just throw his sword across his back and put a pistol on his hip, add a knife attached to his boot, and voila! Perfection.
