Looks like our Viv is trying out a new look (that's not her usual fashion sense).
Nice to know that Marvel still hasn't passed the word on to their artist that Viv vision is supposed to look like a normal person but with different skin, eye and hair color.

For some reason the character is always drawn with strange lines on their skin as if they were "snapped together robot". To make matter even worse if you look at the way the Vision is drawn by Marvel you will see that he is NOT drawn with the weird lines that make him look like a robot.

Go ahead, look at the picture with Vision in it in the exact same drawing to see what I mean. No weird lines.

She is supposed to be highly advanced and that look does the exact opposite.

It. Makes. Her. Look. Like. A. Robot.

Look at The Vision. The only thing that lets you know he is inhuman is skin and eye color. That's it. Marvel "gets it" when it comes to The Vision and went back to the right portrayal but for some reason they insist on this horrible "snap together" look for Viv.

To be fair, that is only her default form. She has an image inducer now and can appear human.

Yes but why does she have to have the "snap together" look in the first place? Is it really that hard for the editor to tell the artist to just draw her like a regular person with an inhuman skin color like The Vision and dump the snapped together look?

Why shouldn't she have that look? Her appearance does not need to be identical to the Vision's. Its not like she was created at the same time, by the same person, using the same materials, etc.

Just because you'd prefer her to look a different way doesn't mean that the artists got it wrong, or that the character's creators don't "get it". They just chose to go in a different direction than you would have chosen.

Ugh, usually I always end up siding with the comics over the MCU, but in this case I can't wait until the MCU introduces the character and they dump the "snap together" look out of sheer expediency and then the comics will follow suit. Then everyone who reads the comics will magically pretend that they were always against the snap together look.
