Well yeah, Eve wrote her second solo run (Bendis of course did the first under the Invincible Iron Man name) as well as the first half of the Champions volume Lore finished off. Those two and Jim Zub (the previous Champions writer) can be thanked for keeping her in focus while the Iron Man writers couldn't be bothered to use her. I've even seen articles jointly credit Bendis and Eve Ewing with her creation (even though that's not true, Eve developed her, but didn't create her).

Thanks for reminding me of Jim Zub, too. As to your last point, that just goes to show a lot of comics commentators don't actually do their research.

Yeah. It was actually in Zub's Champions that Riri's current armour debuted, before Ewing did her solo book. So it's not like the artist of that solo (Luciano Vecchio, the same artist who later drew Lore's short Champions run) even created her current look.
