Guten tag meine freunde! The Kurt Wagner - Nightcrawler Appreciation 2022

Loki on the right. I’m guessing Odin on the left from the devices holding his cloak? (But Odin only has one eye) Galactus looming in the background. All a bit above Kurt’s pay grade. Would be interesting to see Legion having a conversation with Galactus.

Do like Kurt’s new lady friend and he’s looking good. I hope the story lives up to the art.

Looking at the summary, my guess is this book is Zsen focussed (new lady) and Nightcrawler’s along for the ride. She can probably handle the big guns.
The cover is very pretty but I have one minor nitpick/curiosity….Kurt’s tail is missing again.

It is one of his most defining features! Art editors should catch it, it bad when a comic goes to press and you can tell it hasn’t been properly looked over (like Loa being too pale in Way of X - they corrected that in the digital version)

Yeah I noticed it’s missing on a teaser panel from the first issue and on the first cover too. Editorial really needs to pick up on that.

Speaking of Kurt’s tail, I really enjoyed the fight scenes in Legends #12. I thought the artist did a great job showing off Nightcrawler’s fighting style and how badass he can be.

I haven't been able to get the comics I wanted because Amazon/Comixology changed again. If I can't figure out how to make it work, I may have to get the physical books instead again but I really don't have the room. I bet it is amazing though, I am trying not to look at it, lol.

It’s a simple plot with some unanswered questions that honestly I don’t think are all that important anyway; the story that is told is a lot of fun to read. Some great action and relationship moments, I’d definitely recommend it to a Nightcrawler fan

It’s a simple plot with some unanswered questions that honestly I don’t think are all that important anyway; the story that is told is a lot of fun to read. Some great action and relationship moments, I’d definitely recommend it to a Nightcrawler fan

I suspected he was bowing to Ororo, happy to see I was right.

I’ve always enjoyed that dashing, extravagant side to his character. You could say he’s bowing to her because she’s the regent, but It’s Kurt. He’d bow to Ororo (and a fair few other ladies) just to say good morning.

I was introduced to Nightcrawler in the original Excalibur series (and X-Men Classics). I was always rooting for Kurt and Megan to get together because Brian was just an ******* to her. Never liked the idea that he was sleeping with his step-sister, even though he was into it before it became a genre in porn.

Kurt wasn't sleeping with his Step-Sister, he was sleeping with his foster-sister. I don't like the idea of this pair because it comes out of heart break and would be a relationship on rebound, though others still like the idea of it. Like that AU series.
