Emma teaching Jean. This is going to be interesting.

It's really going to be Emma+cuckoo's teaching Jean.

Emma teaching Jeen sounds potentially amazing but now I just don't like Benids keeping writing Emma - she's been and probably will be screwed. Hopefully I'm wrong about that.

Maybe it's because I got started on Whedon's run but I couldn't believe in the earliest issues just how wrong Bendis got her voice...

It's much better now... sadly still no development for Emma there.

    Continue the old thread!

I'm so happy to see Anka returning to Uncanny X-Men, he's a real fan and what we want to do now is just waiting for countless brand-new costumes for Emma!

I think the reasoning though in all seriousness is that Kitty burned her bridges at the JGS and really didn't have any choice in the matter. SHe probably fought the idea but scott played the rational role and won the day. At least that's how I interpret it.

I can bendis writing Emma in pure opportunist fashion in training jean. Letting her emotions get the better of her.

The definition of "great mentor" depends. She was a great teacher for some and failed to be one for the others - different students need different ways to teach. Before taking part in teaching Jeen, no one knows if she's the right choice.
In dog days, all we need is Frost.

Think Emma and Scott will be a couple in the No More Humans graphic novel coming out next week.

That maybe true but as I stated a couple times kitty is left to little to no choices. Emma is adequate do to her experience, though broken powers she still can teach. (UXM#4 or5) comes to mind when she tells the cuckoos she can teach them so much more. Really though the sound choice would be Rachel and her treatment has been criminal.
