There are a few other books in which Emma was written quite well. Several NXM v2 issues come to mind, for example. She's doing well during HoM too. I think if we really attempt to make a list of every issue with a good Emma being written, it'll be a long one.

    Those came out before 2008.

Very nice pic imho...heh...anyway here's to hoping that Emma finds a place in the new books...unless it turns out that it's better that she don't...

Seconded. If only they would give the character more of that kind of dialogue.
Jean loves me this I know because the church says it so.

    Havok and Emma were right.

That was back when the X-Men had terrific writers. Mike Carey really did an incredible job with the X-Men. I really loved his Emma.

Then again he also forced Magneto/Rogue down our throats so it's all relative...but the pic is good.

She used to have a ton of those, but then the writers decided they didn't like having fun.

I also miss the Jean and Emma interaction... it was great fun to see the dynamics between them.. they would make a wonderful X-tittle on their own..

Gillen's Emma was good too... Fraction actually wrote her well before the whole thing turing out to be "Scott's plan". And Xenogenesis! It's just amazing.

It's not a golden time for Emma of course, but I think she really has many times to shine.

I miss it too. I loved the frenemy sort of interactions they shared. I thought All-New X-men #37 was a tantalizing taste of what was possible, but now it looks like we won't be getting that after Secret Wars. It's a shame too because I think these two could learn a lot from each other. I think Jean Grey is a very repressed person whereas Emma Frost is not afraid to flaunt who she is and what she wants. In a sense, they can really balance each other out in all the right ways. If only Marvel were so bold...if only.

According to the cover of the issue 4 she seems to be a villain in it…

But no matter what kind of role she'll play, we have good news now:

Trevor has a question about a character that seems to be a shoe-in for inclusion, as they're prominently featured on one of the issues' covers.

So, Emma Frost is featured in the artwork for "Age of Apocalypse" clad in her classic White Queen costume. This makes me super excited, as she has been not as prominent in recent Marvel story arcs. How big of a part will Emma play in this "AoA"?

A very, very big part, Trevor. Such a big part, that it might even require parts of her in the telling of the story! What does that even mean? You won't know unless you read all five issues.
