I cant tell but was this variant supposed to be Reed and Sue or Magneto and Emma? The hair definitely looks like Reed's (Magneto was bald at this time) but the helmet throws me off. Nothing distinguishes the female oher than all white, which was Emma's signature but she had been wearing all black for some time when this came out

I'm intrigued and encouraged. Emma usually has her own agenda, even when she's going along with others. Depending on how the Mothervine arc pans out, she'll probably find a way to put herself at odds with Magneto, more so than she already has. But if the cover is accurate (and covers can be very deceptive), it might end up requiring the O5 X-men to side with her. That would be a very significant shift, given what Emma has done to them in the past. If that's the case, though, that could be a sign that Emma is starting to walk that fine line again and doing it exceedingly well.

Back in the first issue of Blue Magneto wanted Emma for IvX. I think that may still play a part in what’s happening.
