Also, I asked Bendis if there would be any development for Emma's powers soon and he answered saying that there would be developments for her soon...both mentally AND physically.

I didn't read the statement as a relationship. Physically is probably a direct answer to the "powers" question.
Mentally is the more interesting one. That implies thoughts, opinions, emotions, all that stuff. Could Emma be breaking free from Scotty and going down a different path?

If I were a guessing man, just off this statement I would guess that Emma will be going a different direction post Will. As for what that will be, who knows.

Fair point. Either way I dont think he would make the comment unless there were some truth to it. It could certainly be a letdown, but at the very least it appears there will be some changes.
