The definition of "great mentor" depends. She was a great teacher for some and failed to be one for the others - different students need different ways to teach. Before taking part in teaching Jeen, no one knows if she's the right choice.

That maybe true but as I stated a couple times kitty is left to little to no choices. Emma is adequate do to her experience, though broken powers she still can teach. (UXM#4 or5) comes to mind when she tells the cuckoos she can teach them so much more. Really though the sound choice would be Rachel and her treatment has been criminal.

Everyone here knows that Emma is hardly Kitty's first choice for the mentor of Jeen, but her decision indicates that she believes Emma can train Jeen well; Kitty will never place her in troubles deliberately.

btw, I posted "she needs to play a mentor role first" to reply the posts about how Emma should teach Jeen. All the ways of Emma's training are the pie in the sky if she does nothing but just says "you can do this", like what she's done so far in UXM; that's not the real mentor role.

"Well" is your insertations not the facts as we've seen Emma's past teaching abilities. Let's not push our opinions as such. Going off what BMB has given us it's safe to say "well" isn't in kitty interest but her choices are infact limited which I've stated and your not taking into account.
