How quickly rude and ungrateful Emma haters forget that if it hadn't been for her, the X-Men would have been decimated or depowered along with the rest of mutantkind on M-Day.

But they WERE decimated? Jubilee and Moonstar were among the depowered, and they had to send away bus loads of students.

I couldn't resist replying to point out that the main emotion people experienced was disgust and dissappointment at how Emma was handled.

For me, everything is forgivable except for Emma using Sentinels. Grief is a powerful thing. Losing the love of your life can cause you to go a bit crazy, I can buy that. But Emma Frost using sentinels... nope.

That was kind of neat, though. The Sentinels are a symbol of the hatred of mutants. She just wanted to make the Inhumans feel that, as well. It didn't work, obviously, but I get where she was coming from.

I don't know, after Genosha and how torn up she's been whenever she's lost students it just felt like it was put in there for shock value and to shoehorn her in as a villain at the 11th hour. Maybe it wouldn't have been so bad if she'd actually managed to take down any of the Royal Family but all she did was kill a load of Inhumans who weren't directly involved with the cloud and who turned up to try and help the mutants as much as the Inhumans. It also just made her look a bit incompetent because she waited until the two sides' differences had been resolved to call on the sentinels rather than just doing it at the start of the battle when the mutants were still up for a fight. She even made a daft reference to it with that "why didn't I open with this?" line. Emma is a lot of things but incompetent isn't one of them.

Grief is a powerful emotion and I understand the getting revenge part. That's understandable and in character for Emma.

But using Sentinels? Emma Frost?

She would pull a world wide Xavier mindwipe before using Sentinels.

That was completely OOC and full retard.

Not that we need more holes with which to poke this nonsense IvX story with...but I just realized.

In her diamond form, she doesn't feel anything. So really, it would have made more sense (which is not a thing Soule or Lemire wanted), if she wanted to dampen or escape the trauma of Scott's death for a while, to just stay in diamond form.

Though I suppose doing so might have made Death of X impossible. But...people seemed to have played fast and loose with the whole 'she can't psychic will in diamond form' rule anyway.

After reading IvX #6, I came here to say "I'm sorry to all Emma Fans". As a Emma fan myself, I was highly disappointed today.
