I have the theory that Morrison intended Emma's diamond form to be much stronger than what future writers made her to be. Jack o Diamonds, a telepath criminal with diamond skin who had Cyclops as his protegee for a while when Scott escaped from his orphanage (the 60s Stan lee run), could cut steel beams with his hand and beat She Hulk when he was resurrected as a zombie in the 80s. It seems to me Morrison was inspired a bit by that when he decided to give Emma the diamond form. And iirc, he did that (emma's diamond form) because he wanted to use Colossus but couldnt because he was dead (he died for the cure of the legacy virus, marvel didnt resurrect him until whedon), so he must have done it thinking it would make her Colossus tier.

In the Hong Kong Annual issue of New Xmen she threatens to use her nail to drill through a Uman's body.

Her diamond form should be just as sharp/unstoppable as Penance in GenX...maybe not on the smooth parts, but her hands/fingernails should be able to rip through anything diamond could cut.

IvX #6 was complete garbage fire, but it at least showcased both her psychic powers and just how potent her diamond form is. She literally stabbed Black Bolt by just stretching her arm out fast. I think that's one of the few times her diamond form was utilized in such an offensive way.

I always thought it would be a good idea to have an alternative reality Emplate who feed on Emma or the Cuckoos. He prefers mutants like Penance or Bling because for some reason he can feed indefinitely from mutants with diamond bodies (and ends up absorbing their powers indefinitely)
Perhaps the AoA Emplate if he is made horseman could have his own harem of diamond mutants to feed (penance, emma, the cuckoos, transonic) obviously he would have to use a device to prevent her to switch to flesh form

I have just seen Pyro at the iceman preview.. if he is back because he survived Necrosha and Banshee is back for the same reason.. Can the original Hellions be around too? I really loved those characters.

Banshee isn't back because of Necrosha. He was resurrected (with Daken and the Grim Reaper) by the Apocalypse Twins in Remenders Uncanny Avengers

Tarot appeared alive last year in Spiderman/Deadpool 11, it may not be canon because it was a fill in issue written by Penn from Penn & Teller, and he just wanted to use a cards related character. But I guess it can be canon if they want to.
She was completely out of character, behaving like a Spiderman z list villain, but I guess it can be explained as crazyness from dying and resurrecting so many times

Oh I had missed that! Thanks for sharing. It is good to have Ange Marie back (now we only need her properly writen). I think the Hellions should be based in the European Union ( we have Empath -Spaniard/EU, Tarot -French/EU, Bevatron - French/EU) so it would make sense and it would be fun to see how Emma relates to them .

Btw, her beret looks ridicolous.. a poorly drawn verson of the Phrygian cap...
