Jean stopped just short of forcing Emma to live the lives of every child that died under her watch. Good lord, telepaths are scary, and what Jean could have done sounds like some Black Mirror horror.

It'd make too much sense for it to be Red given the current story arc

there's too much going on in Red, especially with the number of charcters already there. A mini would be the better chance of getting some quality interaction with Emma doing more than a cameo appearance

Everyone keeps saying that, but I think it's the perfect number of characters on a team (honestly feels more like a true revolution but with the good/likable characters) and since there aren't any other telepaths on Jean's team i wonder HOW they're going to deal with Nova

I dont mind the number of people on the team but its 9 and at some point Rachel will be involved in some capacity, making it 10. Add Emma and thats 11 characters. You arent going to get quality interaction between Emma and Jean in Red bc its bloated. We havent seen any between Jean and Storm and so far thats her most significant relationship. Red is very plot heavy at the moment. A mini series removes that and offers the oppurtunity to tell a more character driven tale that can go deeper than an ensemble book with as large a cast s Red currently has
