Let's hope Shuri has a good year in 2022!
You know I’ve been thinking. With the Griot identity Shuri can essentially be the Nightwing to T’Challas Batman. And since she’s the resident magic user of the main Wakandan characters I’ve been thinking maybe Tetu can be a Shuri villain much like how Professor Pyg is a Nightwing villain these days.

Shuri's new fit looks a purple version of the outfit that Wakandan scientists wore on Captain America Civil War and Black Panther. Aside from the colour, the top cuts off at the hips instead of being a full blown robe in the back. It also looks more like a Wakandan version of a jogging kit.

Attuma and Namor look great, isn’t that Riri picture fan art? maybe I’m mistaken
I imagine until we get an actual trailer, we won’t see a lot of Shuri beyond general pictures like the above that don’t give away anything story wise
Yep, Riri will debut in Wakanda Forever and then have her own show.

What did everyone think of Shuri in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever? I haven't seen the film yet, but would love to know people's thoughts on how she was portrayed.
I think she was great!
To be honest, I'm not very familiar with Shuri from the comics, so I'm not sure how faithful the film portrayal is. I liked the character in the first film but she wasn't exactly my favorite character there. But Letitia Wright delivered a brilliant performance here, and evolved the character in a way that made perfect sense.
I think she was amazing, too.
The movie really put her through the gauntlet. On-screen Shuri feels like a great distillation of all the roles the comic book character had undulated between: troublemaker, shaman, tech-wiz, princess and queen. Standing next to Namor, she felt like an equal. Very impressed with Letitia Wright, and excited to see what's next for Shuri. Can't wait
I like the growth of her character here. She was no longer just the brainy, bratty Lil Sister. In fact, she kind of had to step up into mentor role for RiRi and it really worked!
She had to go through the grief process (twice) and Leticia portrayed this very well! She also had good chemistry with Namor, which was necessary to make this work.
