I'm glad Harras/Epting's reputation has taken an upswing in the last few years. I really appreciate Harras bringing back the soap opera that had been missing from the comic for many years (my biggest problem with the Stern era is the lack of soap opera).

I also appreciate how much Harras always went to bat for Quicksilver, a character who (to say the least) had not been treated well in the Avengers comics after Stan Lee left. Pietro features prominently in the first issue of this story (but disappears after) and he's portrayed as an unambiguous hero for the first time in living memory.

Quicksilver and Crystal were definitely Harras's favorite ship.

Thanks, K7P5V! I knew I wasn't losing my mind, lol.

Hey, I remember this scene--from when Hank had become Ant-Man again due to Ultron brainwashing him and Jan wore that unique Purple costume! This is after the attack when Jan stung Hank and she explained what happened to the Avengers.

The artwork and colors were studpendous! Jan and Hank never looked better!

Classic Jan and Hank hair here, lol!

You're welcome, Phoenixx9! I'm just glad that Hank went back to being Yellowjacket a few issues later...

I definitely recommend to give this story a check out. Honestly, the Avengers from the Byrne run (304-318), the Nicieza Crossing Line (seriously top 5 story from this era for me), skip the Hama run (you won’t miss much), up through the end of the Harras run. When Harras starts bringing on Terry Kavanaugh to help with his workload as he transitions to E-i-C is when the book really starts to suffer.

Also, how could they leave out The Black Widow (LOL):

I'm also a little doubtful about Sam Wilson, but I can't deny that, in recent years, especially after he took over for Cap for a period, he really distinguished himself, even going on to lead the team. Other than that (and maybe the order of the list), I'm fine with that list. Would make for an awsome (if very big) team.

My second change would I guess be more controversial but I would replace She-Hulk with Jarvis. IMO Jarvis is an Avenger and if you consider Jarvis an Avenger then he must be on the list.
