My ideal Syndicate:

Ultraman was sent to Earth to conquer it ala Goku. Superwoman is an Amazon who was sent to conquer "man's world" in the name of the Amazons. In an uneasy truce, she and Ultraman married to keep the peace. But they both resent each other. I kind of like the Justice Lords concept where they "turned evil" because of some event that happened. That's much better "evil" JL than a group actually calling themselves the "crime syndicate".

Just to track down the events, when did the New 52 CS died?
Originally they died in Darkseid War but the world was remade and the became responsible for Jon Kent unable to go home
I know Owlman died toppling a Crisis energy tower in Death Metal but I don't know the rest

I love the concept of the Crime Syndicate, just not always it’s execution.

I think it’s when you mix the original take on them with elements from the Crisis on Two Earths version and the grouping Johns introduced in Forever Evil. Things I’d include:

Redo Superwoman’s origin so it’s Amazon-based and has nothing to do with Lois Lane, Superman or Shazam.

I’ve been working on my own Wonder Woman Series Bible Thingee for a comic book, animated series or television series and have had a lot of fun fleshing out Superwoman’s origin, Themyscira and character. It’s basis is all Amazon, as it should be.

It’s a tool she obtained through some trickery.

If they ever do another Justice League movie and use the Crime Syndicate, it’d be very interesting to see actors who play the Leaguers also play their Syndicater doppelgänger. That could be very interesting and fun with some great actors.
