Marvel is currently casting #WonderMan. The character is open to any ETHNICITY with the character being described as a “struggling Hollywood actor”. The show will also be very comedic.

Oh, Great, another one. (read with massive doses of sarcasm)

Well, I've already given up reading the comic books, and at this rate, I'll soon quite Marvel altogether. I enjoyed WandaVision where the comedy was subtle. I hated Thor Raganarok where practically every statement was delivered as the setup to a joke or the punchline. Will probably never watch Thor 4. That said -- I expected some comedy, but very comedic sounds like the show will be making fun of Simon -- and he's not really a comedic character -- despite having a few comedic moments as a struggling actor.

So I have a rather odd situation.

Deadpool, in the comics - killed every story he was in, for me.
His every antic just was too much for me. But

my son convinced me to watch the movie, 1st one. And I never laughed so hard in a while.
Second one was okay, but not like the first.

I think I can handle that vulgar comedy in MCU but not all of this other stuff.
I've only watch Ep 1 of SheHulk and I enjoyed it enough.

I just read that and of course the writer makes a major mistake by saying he got his powers through a radiation accident.

But I though Zemo used a machine and that was the intended effect.

I loved the Deadpool movies, and, like you, I can't stand the character in comics. So, I blame it on Ryan Reynolds.
As for the MCU humor, I could take it better previous to Disney taking over. After that, they really lost the touch, and it become so much that it was unfunny. Honestly, whenever I see one of theses Disney + series, I feel like I'm watching one of those old, lame Disney or Nickelodeon kid shows that my daughter used to watch when she was little, such as I Carly, Hanna Montana, Jessie, etc..., but with Marvel super-heroes. It's way overdone, cheap, moronic, unfunny humor. I really can't take it, and feel it insults my inteligence.

    Peace

Correct, Oberon! It's all chronicled in Avengers #9 (XD)

When the Wonder Man show comes out, I hope it's not 4th wall breaking. Three characters is too much. But I predict that part of the show may be "reality show" style.

I guess they may incorporate the early costumes for gags, more than likely.

Which means, of course, that, once more, they are gonna make a fool out of him.

    Thank you!

Believe it or not, this is one of my favorite WM costumes too.

    Exactly!
Makes me wonder if RR wasn't cast for DP, but ended up more of a straight hero type - who could he be?

The idea of Reed Richards for RR is funny, but acting wise and looks he could fit it. Not to be, unless the MCU reveals

that another 'variant' of Reed, is in fact a match for Deadpool

His original costume looks pretty good to me there.
