Me either. He just doesn’t look tough enough. He’s supposed to be as strong as Thor. He needs to look it.

Personally, I've never liked green in any of his costumes, and would hate to see it make a return.

I like his first two uniforms when he wore a cowl. It's a dated look, but he looked more formidable in those than he did with black tank top and tights. A couple of years back someone posted his first costume in black/red -- and it look pretty good -- more impressive.

Ah, you're correct. I haven't seen those EMH episodes since they originally aired, but I do remember it being a much better show.

Those scans above aren't from a cartoon, although the art style certainly would lead one to think so. Its actually from the story in AVENGERS CLASSIC that filled in some of the off-panel blanks of Wonder Man's original stint as Baron Zemo's mole in the Avengers.

As for Simon in animated form, he was also in the MODOK animated series.

The only time I have ever liked his original costume at all was in a WHAT IF issue by Jim Valentino, about a reality where Simon didn't 'die' at the end of AVENGERS #9.

I love that WHAT If issue! Back when the stories were fun, and not just an excuse to butcher everyone and have the bad guys win.

OMG! Even with the sad ending, that's still one of my all-time favorite "What If...?" stories ever (XD)
