Anyone got the link to the live sketch? Im very curious
According to leaks
spoilers:end of spoilers
No real plot advancement for MJ in ASM#5
Also would love a link to the live sketch!
Looks like we may get an idea of what's going on. As preview suggests Peter will tell Felecia what's been going on
Does this thread really need to be dominated by discussion of the soulless misery porn that is the Wells run?
Of course they're going to get back together again. (And then break up again later and then get back together after that, and on and on until Marvel stops publishing comics).
I'm just saying that Wells' run is not good. It's just soulless misery porn. And I'd rather this thread not focus so much on it in this thread.

You're right, it's not good. It's badly paced, it hasn't offered answers, it's barely offered clues, and nobody, MJ in particular, is in character (other than maybe Felicia)
But that's only for the moment. I certainly don't think we're not far off from some resolutions.
The Moira situation will bring MJ back into Peter's life. If she's somehow ungrateful to Peter for saving her from Moira, then yes, we can label this consistent misery porn then if we've gone through half a dozen issues with no context or a glimpse of positive development.
All of us are invested and interested in MJ's ongoing story. Is it always a popular one? No, but neither is Peters' most of the time. We also know all roads lead back to them together and I just feel from Jed and Lowe's twitter exchanges and the reprint of the Wedding Album that something is brewing and that they just didn't want to credit a turncoat in Spencer with the big reunion, and that Wells wanted to put his own stamp on things.
If you don't like the discussions about how MJ is always unfairly treated by Marvel editorial, then simply don't read them. Don't try to discourage people from bringing up developments just because they make you feel uncomfortable. That isn't fair to anyone.

I don't disagree with discussions around the current issues (which I am already not reading), but it often seems like it's the only discussion in this thread. And that's what I find objectionable. There are threads about the current issue that people can use to discuss Zeb Wells' run. (Jed MacKay is a different writer who isn't working on Amazing Spider-Man.) It doesn't need to dominate every thread all the time.
It brings this thread down because the current run is just constant misery porn. And I don't think that's changing anytime soon.
