It's not just a fleeting cameo. There's an in-story reason for her involvement, it sheds new light on the web of life and destiny still being in a state of disrepair and Shayde has a role with it. This could be a vital Spider-book rather than a filler satellite.

I mean, still pretty random to have in a Carnage book of all things, and for that character in particular. But that's just me.
