Always loved this cover. So simple and so effective. #NoFear

I didn't say it wasn't, just that I remember it being more common to play that kind of thing for laughs in movies and sitcoms and such back then. I wasn't defending anything. I literally said it was gross.
I honestly don't remember that issue very well, just that Hal never acted on anything, which I guess is the important thing?

One way or another, it was a good Brave and the Bold run. I wish we had more stuff like that in the DCU.
Yes, but then there was this panel...

Jurassic League's first issue is going back to print with a new cover and it appears the GL dinosaur in this version is based on Hal.
Wow, a JL story that doesn't use Sinestro as GL's counterpart.
Does the GL still have a domino mask? lol,
Is that supposed to be Hal vs Atrocitus?

Well he has white hands, white eyes resembling Hal's eyes when he has the domino mask on, or the green portion goes down to his waist. It seems to me it was specifically designed to resemble Hal more than others, or at least that's what you get when you see it for the first time. Naturally given the other dinosaurs in the story don't use human names but they are clearly still meant to be Bruce, Clark and Diana, this GL would likely not call himself Hal either, but considering his design seems to be primarily inspired by Hal's design, it stands to reason to think he was based on Hal. I think if it was inspired by other specific GLs they would've more distinctly resembled them instead of Hal. Of course it could also end up being a mix of different GLs, maybe with Hal's look but someone else's backstory.
