Such a weird concept Johns tried to make into a thing. And to waste a whole page on it with Cowgirl awkwardly putting her hands on Hal just so Johns could give us the "McDLT" of superhero costumes.

Felt like Johns had more stuff planned on with this concept.

We don't get much of Hal asides of what we saw in the preview. But he returns towards the end of the issue and basically powers up Swamp Thing with... I guess willpower? It looked cool, but I don't remember seeing anything like that before and I'm not sure if it makes sense.

Ring is space magic when all is said and done, it’s supposed to do anything you will it to. That’s enough for me to accept whatever nonsense writers do as long as it’s handwaved away with “Hal willed it so”. Definitely would love to see Ram V write more Hal or Green Lantern in general now.

This is weird. There are some elements of Kyle and some elements of Hal here...

I do see some of Kyle there, maybe this could be part of the yet to be announced Dark Crisis tie-ins or the characters might get some temporary "upgraded" costumes for the final battle with Pariah or whatever.

The figure appears to be John since he has a "pin" like that on his shoulder in the Dark Crisis tie-in.



PKJ did mention other GLs would show up in the GL tie-in too so I'm guessing that's likely another variant cover for the issue they haven't revealed yet.

It'll be interesting to see if Hal even exists in John's "prefect world." It could end up being a bit awkward if Hal ends up rescuing John.

Johnson did say say Hal was "his" GL before, so I'm not surprised if he's there. To be fair I kind of wish he wasn't since he's already part of the main Dark Crisis story but I guess it would be no different than how Wally appears in Barry's perfect world despite that main Wally is a big part of the event too.
