Surprised it took literally one dumb tweet that didn't even have anything to do with GL for people to start their usual "Hal Jordan fans" generalizing, but I shouldn't have, that's the only Lantern and the only GL fanbase you're allowed to generalize and insult with zero consequences after all. Their comparisons between Captain America and his successors, and Alan Scott and Hal Jordan were just as dumb as the original tweet trying to denounce any non-Rogers Cap, but what else can be expected from that app at this point. People shouldn't put too much stock into what's trending on that toilet, in the end none of it matters. When it comes to the cultural landscape and what society likes and doesn't like, twitter is inconsequential.
