I'm a little shocked that Aya and Razer haven't made the jump to comics yet. It feels like such an obvious move that could potentially pull in new readers. Those characters are adored by my students.

Think the Interceptor made it's way into comics, so in a way Aya has immigrated over to comics.

Yeah, the other Corps. are barely around as is and I don't think they would really do much with them at this point.

Like, I love to see them but integrating media characters into the comics is never a sure bet.

For every Harley you have more cases like Diggle, Felicity Smoak, or the entire Agents of SHIELD cast.

Doesn't there need to be GA book first for anyone to use Diggle, lol.

Diggle showed up in Benjamin Percy's GA Rebirth run and he's been M.I.A. since.

It was an obvious move, but it could have been a lazy one. One big reason they were adored is because of their love story. Simply introducing the characters without it would be unsatisfying unless a writer had a clear plan for them and the GL franchise barely has room for all the earth GLs, with each of their fandoms thinking they deserve lead roles, let alone having room to focus on a Red Lantern and a non-GL A.I.

It was just a drawing more than a fully-formed thought. I do like the idea of Jarro + Despero = DesStarro.
