Morrison knew how to make him confident and competent without making him over confident or annoying. Earlier in his run so did Johns for that matter.

Yes. I like how Morrison portrayed Hal. I'm not fond of the cocky approach.

Yeah. The hair throws me off. Wonder who approved the character design.

I just boil it down to adaptations doing their own take on the character design. They likely thought that as long as he has a mask and white gloves, then it shouldn't matter if he has black hair or the green portion doesn't go down to his waist. And the boots are actually green on the full costume which is a plus.

Yeah. WW also looked a little different in that show.

Looking at King's twitter it does look like many people would like more of that.

It's a double-edged sword. On one hand you'd likely get a memorable take on Hal by King. On the other hand it may be memorable for all the wrong reasons.

I'm all for a good psychoanalysis, but I feel like King would just tear Hal down, if given a full run at him. He tends to leave characters broken and pitiable (at best) or broken and unlikable (at worst) by the time he's finished with them.

    Ymmv of course.

The observable universe, from one end to the other, is around 46 billion light years wide. It's estimated that the entire universe is at least 250 times as big, or about 11 trillion light years from end to end.

That's about how far I want Tom King from Hal Jordan.
