Gar being one of the people to carry the casket seems like a random choice considering who is up there with him, and Nightwing and Supergirl being right behind

Darkseid attending the funeral is something else. And this was YEARS before the other company let us know that Doctor Doom cries for the innocent. Such interesting times. lol
Hal showed up in the latest installment of Wayne Family Adventures.
That image showing Changeling and Capt. Marvel carrying the casket is from a trading card set that was released at a time when the (trading card) rights to Batman and related characters was with another company. This is the original image:
One of the sucktacular things about post crisis was the erasure of Superman's history.
Lar Gand & Kara should have been pallbearers.
Crap, I almost typed Paul Bearer.
I love a few things about that "remove Batman & Company" from the drawing edict:
1) Batman, Robin, and Azrael had to go, but Nightwing got to stay?
2) Cripes, Azrael is just standing in place like a jerk, making everyone walk around him.
3) At least the trading card artist had the good taste to take Ray off the coffin. Seriously dude, that's creepy.
4) I like how the trading card artist filled in the Captain Marvel hole with Peter Cannon, a character that, it turns out, DC didn't really have the rights to.
5) I get that Changeling was an easy character to grab for the trading card, since he (weirdly) wasn't in the original art, and he didn't want to disturb the "Superman Family" behind the coffin, but seriously, Changeling? You couldn't like, like, J'Onn out of the picture and replace him with Gar?
6) That Azrael/Spectre swap is not particularly fluid.
