Jessica Jones needs more villains.

So I'm a huge JJ fan but all she ever seems to go up against is the Purple Man. So far, most of her series have revolved around him. I get that he held her captive and traumatized her but I think Marvel needs to expand her villains list a little more.

I agree. She doesn't need costume villians but they need to be rememberable. More Lalo and Gus from Better Call Saul than joker.

I do think it would be an interesting angle to look at non-costumed supers as villains for her. During a case or something she encounters someone she thinks would be no problem for her and winds up getting punched through the front of a store, across the street and totals a car she is knocked into.

Well... this is the sort of thing Titania has done.... Mary MacPherran looks... like a supermodel/powerlifter when dressed in normal clothes... but nothing... TOO strange, just mildly unusual.

She's not really a traditional Superhero (at least post-Jewel) so it doesn't behoove her to have a Rogues Gallery beyond whatever she faces case-to-case.

You could still work in a few that she could have regular encounters with who hold grudges because of her work as a PI. Some UCWF wrestler who blames her for 'ruining' his marriage for getting pic of him cheating. Or someone who blames her for a family member going to jail because she got proof that cleared a defendant but also showed the real perp.

It doesn't have to be the whole thing like Spidey, DD or Cap have.

I agree. It's not like she has a huge fan base. I suppose she could still show up in any Luke Cage stories in the comics but leading a series of her own probably wouldn't be a big seller.

Well...crooks break out, or don't get convicted, or have family that may want to get revenge...or like I said above it could just be people who did not break the law...but Jess has pissed off in the course of her PI work.

Yes, true, and not a bad idea, but almost all should be non-costumed as she is, since she is not supposed to be a superhero.

Now, if Jessica ever got a power-up, then I also like the idea of a costumed Power Woman and (costumed) Power Man team!
