    Default New year, old references

When did Ben Grimm first refer to himself as,
“The ever lovin’ blue eyed thing.”

When did Spider-man first call himself,
    “Your friendly neighborhood Spider-man.”

    When did Wolverine first say,
“I’m the best there is at what I do. But what I do isn’t very nice.”

When did The Hulk first shout,
“Hulk is strongest one there is!”

    Ha, okay!

I believe I found two of them. As far as I can tell…

    …Spidey first friendly neighbor-ed himself in Amazing Spider-man 17 back in 1964…

…and Wolvie first used his “best at” catchphrase in the Classic 1982 Claremont/Miller mini series, right on page 1.
