If that is truly the case then that's infuriating. I can't believe Jason is the only character in DC going through a poorly thought out 'guns r bad mkay' era just cause of a lack of creativity for covers.

My guess is that Variant covers are sold when asked for them, instead of the actual cover, that's shown to all kinds of public in shelves.

I don't know. I know there's almost for sure a ban on guns for toys, but it may not be one for covers, as unlikely as it probably is.

But it's not just Jason. I think I remember someone pointing out that it happened to other character as well, but I can't remember who was.

According to Murphy, guns are allowed when they're obviously fictional ones. Something that is the case with this cover.

Sure, but I still don't understand DCs insistence on a story enforced no guns policy on Jason.

Ya know I kinda dislike Jason with the excessive body-armor and sci-fi plates.

Kinda prefer him with more casual clothing, jacket, pants, shirt, with the helmet the only visibly armored/out there part of the design

Jason wearing full body armor is stupid, that's why the TFZ design sucked. But wearing only armor on his torso like in that cover with an added jacket/vest plus the helmet works really well.

That said, my favorite costume is still Medri's

Completely understandable. For what it's worth, the Rocafort version will always be my preference...

Sure, why not? Clearly, the majority doesn't agree. But, I never had any distaste for it...
