Right? Everyone is emotionally devastated and is spelling out for the audience how dire the situation is, and in the middle of that there's just Roy and Jasons strangely hopeful moment.

With two weeks to go, what are your hopes and fears for Outlaws?

I'm having low expectations, just having Jason drop the angst and constant back and forth about whether he and Bruce are on good terms or not is enough for me. But looking at the writer's Twitter I worry he's going to go full Tumblr fanbase pandering instead of delivering an actual, solid story. From what I've seen, I have no worries about the art.

Might leave some more thoughts later but for now I'll say WK Red Hood was pretty enjoyable, and the art was lovely too. I'm really looking forward to the second half.

there isn't any other interactions or scenes with Jason and or Roy in this issue outside of the preview page, but the samurai green lantern version of Jason (and Kyle) shows up for a panel in another storyline within the book.

WK: Red Hood was pretty good. It treats Jason with respect and avoids going for the already trite take of Jason consumed by resentment and trying to get even with Bruce, instead focusing on Jason trying to live his life outside of Bruce's shadow. And the idea of becoming a better mentor than Bruce is something that Lobdell already touched up during RHATO and an angle I really enjoy so I'm happy with this direction. Gan is also a pretty fun character and her personality is a perfect foil for Jason, I would love to Jason having a sidekick like her in the main series.

Oh, my God. Gan is an absolute delight.
I need her in the main DCU.

She's a bit like Kate in Hawkeye, but more energetic. I love her.

I fear that it is going to be more a comedy title, that doesn't really portrait the Outlaws as capable crime fighters.

I hope they will at least incorporate Jason All Cast Training somehow.

GK's staff sat with IGN to talk about some of the costumes that will be available in the game. They revealed 7 out of the 11 sets available in the game at launch: Beyond, Knightwatch, Eternal, Year One, Shinobi, Knight Ops, and Noir.

The Year one suit is neat for a traditional look (same goes for the Jim Lee KnightWatch suit) but man that Knight Ops and Shinobi Red Hood suit look pretty sweet too, I especially like the plethora of weapons decorating the Knights Ops suit.
