This is really awesome! Not a huge fan of George Lopez but seeing so many Latino actors in one movie hardly ever happens in Hollywood. So freaking excited!

On the one hand I'm typically in the camp of "let's see how the first movie does before we talk sequels", but it's nice to know that if it is a success it shouldn't take them long to get in a sequel script.

Rumors going around that WB wants James Marsden for the role of Ted Kord and Sandra Bullock will join the cast as one of the villains! If that turns out to be true then that’s a huge win for this film!

Sandra Bullock is apparent good friends with George Lopez, so that could definitely be true since he’s already in.

Marsden as Ted would be a huge win for Ted fans. He’s someone who could definitely support a spin off franchise or team up with Booster. It would be ironic if Marsden’s Blue Beetle ends up overshadowing Jaime.

James Marsden as Ted would be great...and kind of funny to see him move from one blue-centric franchise to another .

Interesting. So this Victoria Kord could end up being the main villain. I wonder if it’s her and not La Dama that turns out to be Lady Styx.

Carapax the Indestructible Man is rumored to be the second villain. He’s a powerful armored villain so there’s definitely someone who could give the scarab a run for it’s money. Though that could be a bit too much like Ironman vs The Iron Monger.

Not a fan of Sharon Stone. Would much rather see Sandra Bullock. I’m not generally a fan of Bullock but she’d definitely bring in more ticket sales.

The only issue I see with Sharon Stone is people speculating that means they'll cast someone much older for Ted.

I'd be fine with that. I was never a huge fan of trying to combine La Dama and Lady Styx into one character. It really devalued the former.
