I believe she died in Secret Origins #50. Cause of death? Straight up cancer.

I love Dinah. Hell, she's why I was reading Deathstroke Inc., but all DC will understand from my putting money on this is "more Batman/Deathstroke" so I'll pass.

Is Dinah even in Deathstroke Inc. anymore? I don't read the book, and only read the Batman chapters of "Shadow War", but she wasn't seen or mentioned there...

I love Black Canary and how Simone really built her up in the pages of Birds of Prey.

I was just catching up on some issues of DC vs Vampires and there’s a great scene between her and Damian, where she shows him exactly how skilled she is.

In my headcanon, Dinah is right up there with Bruce and Lady Shiva in terms of martial skill and creativity when fighting.

I love her. There's not a ton of mother-daughter legacies, so that aspect is interesting. Her whole evolution is really interesting - Dinah Lance was basically created by accident, but then evolved into a true legacy, inspired by her mom and the JSA, with a touch of defiance. Still hate that she was a casualty of the Longbow Hunters and trying to beef up Green Arrow, but later writers did a good job incorporating and improving on that story. Yes, she should be a top tier martial artists and portrayed as such.

Also really like Jurnee Smollet, but the character needs a really solid grounding now that she's no longer a legacy (or is she? Will she be one again?)

The hair when not in costume matches Emiko, anyway. If it is her, I wonder what Ace will think? Kid Flash was her boyfriend in Teen Titans.

Not familiar with Emiko as I dropped Green Arrow early on in that run. But I do like the design of this Red Canary. I also prefer the fishnets that have leotards underneath -- more practical and looks better, IMHO.

It should be Sin. The latter was her actual side kick. Emiko is tied to Ollie.

But all signs point to Emiko so far.
