Dinah in the movie was basically a composite of multiple Black Canaries, but I think it worked well in the movie. She definitely felt like Black Canary one way or another.

The only problem with that is, when you change things elsewhere, somebody may get the "brilliant" idea to go back to change things in her comic book backstory.

I love having DLL being the daughter of DD but lets not act like comics dont merge things all the time. This isn't Arrow that gave us 4 Black Canaries in a matter of 3 years.

I mean, I really doubt it...or that it would matter that much, really. Maybe the Meta-Gene gets passed down, either way it wouldn't effect modern Dinah that much.
