Yep, unless Ezra murders someone this film is coming out. Hell I think if they can force Ezra to go to rehab they might even try to market this as his comeback tour.

Of course if it bombs they’re right back where they started with the first movie meant to kick off the shared universe being divisive. But they don’t really have any options since they need this to come out so they can do Batgirl and all the other projects they’ve got planned.

Can't - Earth 2 is the one of the new The Batman film with no other superheroes. Least in film. In tv I think Earth 2 it's claimed by the Stargirl show. Weird there's two Earth 2s now.

It isn't. Whatever the nu-DCEU spinning out of The Flash is will be the Extended Universe. The solo Batman universe of The Batman/Earth 2 is just part of the Extended Multiverse, same as the Joker movie (whatever number earth that is).

Justice Society is already coming out in the main DCEU earth with Black Adam. No Jay there, but he'll probably join them later in a sequel or spin off.

Or, God forbid, dies. They seem to be on a self destruction kick at the moment. We've seen this all happen before and it ends in one of three ways, rehab and redemption, prison or death.

I can see them even rebranding the movie at this point as more Batman/Justice League centric and maybe let slip some of the possible surprise cameos to take the focus off of Ezra at least in the marketing. Maybe it would be prudent to go back to the original title of this project: Flashpoint. Or Justice League: FLASHPOINT or even DC Universe: FLASHPOINT.

I'd be in favor of that. He birthed a lot of Batman/DC fans back in the 1980s and 1990s, and he as far as we know he doesn't engage in criminal behavior. Old Man Batman isn't a terrible idea at all, so long as it's a multiversal thing and the Burton Batman isn't otherwise connected with Superman, etc.
