I just read an interview with Ewing on CBR about his upcoming Defenders Beyond mini, in it he mentions a returning fan favorite former Defender that he had to get approved by the X-office, so that could be Bobby, Warren, or Hank. I doubt it's Beast because it seems he'll be busy in X-Force. If it turns out to be Bobby then it would be nice to have Ewing write him and the threat they're dealing with in the mini seems cosmic scale so there would probably be impressive feats.

On the subject of Opal's son mentioned upthread, I am not in favor of him being revealed to be Bobby's kid. I'm not a fan of babies in comics with a sliding timescale and character age caps, and although the story ideas Bobby'sWorld mentioned in their post sound interesting I don't think they would be well executed in what are primarily superhero comics. I would like to see Bobby take on a mentor role with the younger Krakoan elementals, that could be fun.
As for a potential nemesis, Cameron Hodge could work. They both had a secret crush on Warren but dealt with it in very different ways. I enjoyed the CatBat dynamic that Grace was trying to build with Daken, that might be worth trying to recreate with Solem. I think Graydon Creed is alive again, he's probably working with Orchis now, that could be a nice callback to when he had Bobby's father beaten. When the Children of the Vault come back I hope Bobby is part of the team that deals with them since he has experience with them.

Sadly it looks like its not going to happen, or at least that there are no current plans for it. Leaked art from X-Men 13 suggests that Bobby's actually going to end up on the X-Men Year Two line-up in Duggan's book. C'est la vie. At least he'll be somewhere I suppose.

There have been a handful of custom statues of Iceman connected to his Dragon aspect in the years since the Frozen Arc in Astonishing X-Men but that is EASILY the best!
I encourage everyone to Google and go to the site with all the images from various angles, it is fantastic!
And I love the little detail of Thor's Hammer, Mjolnir, trapped in the ice!

I went to the superpowers wiki to look for more different kinds of ice powers and then I found there was cyro-kinesis, which had me thinking, should bobby have his telekinesis moment??

The scruff notwhistanding (I like it but we all disagree), I think I really like it. I prefer more naked Iceman, but I like the colors and sci-fi aspects ! It feels modern and cool ! Love the X in the back !

It's a little too plain for me, with too much white. He also feels really covered up, especially the full sleeve with gloves. I prefer a costume where we can see that his skin is ice, rather than something that looks like he's just covering the costume with ice. I don't mind the scruff, not a fan of the hairstyle, but that could just be because I don't find Vecchio's style particularly appealing.

I think I'd like it a bit more without sleeves. I like the shoes and wristbands. I love the X-Snowflake logo, making him more distinctive.
I wonder if Vecchio chose a covering costume to make Bobby less a "naked gay man at Pride" stereotype.
