@LucianoVecchio: As a thank you for all the love for Marvel’s Voices ICEMAN #1, here’s my first character study with the new costume and logo design
Jean Grey in the words of Walt Whitman, from his masterpiece Leaves of Grass, "Song of Myself" (51 and 52):

"Do I contradict myself? Very well then I contradict myself, (I am large, I contain multitudes.)"

"Failing to fetch me at first keep encouraged, Missing me one place search another, I stop somewhere waiting for you."

I'm actually really starting to hate his art style.

I like the costume, and I like Vecchio art style but I don't think it works with adult characters.

He should be place on a book that is focus on young mutants.

How old is Bobby supposed to be, anyway? He does look young in this art.

The artist likes to add symbols to character costumes as in the "I" for iceman. He did the same for Silhouette when he designed her costume (he gave her a swirling shadow symbol). And I've noticed when he drew Firestar he's also added a red star to her costume.

I quite enjoy the art style. I find it refreshing. He adds little details here and there which I quite like. For example adding stubble or a beard to male characters. This is 2022, so not every male hero should be clean cut shaved

I really did like John Romita Jr.s return to the X-Men and he did draw a good Bobby. A lot of people thought Opal was too vapid of a gf but I did like this scene.

Now onto the hair , not my fave look either. It's very popular now. I've been seeing it on You Tube and the Food Network a lot, lol. But they are not kids. It looks like they want to make Bobby more "current" I guess to attract new fans. I guess I don't blame them. It wouldn't be a deciding factor though if I would pick the book up or not.

I really like the sleek and minimalist but very modern design of this new look...and I hope it will be used/adapted for Bobby outside of the M:Voices

It's doesn't look like it in the X-men preview leaked. Too bad.

Did anybody other than me not know that Marvel’s Voices: Iceman is an ONGOING!

I thought it was just a four-issue mini until I saw this...

Marvel’s Voices: Iceman is an ongoing series for the comic subscription service. It will feature a rotating cast of comic creators. Each will be contributing multi-issue stories and one-shots."

    Welcome.
Marvel's Voices is an ongoing. Iceman's story is just an arc in that. We know the next arc is focused on the Young Avengers.
I think the article just got it wrong.

These better become printed versions too. My shelf needs more queer content.
