Wasn't she allowed to be Wonder Woman for like three issues but was captured in the first one? that was really bad writing for her and if I remember correctly Cassie was there too.

Eh, it wasn't that bad. She had to fight Cheetah, Giganta and Dr Psycho at the same time. That would a handful even for Diana.

Her original origin of being an orphan rescued from a fire by Diana and when Americas crappy social services system didn't want her, Diana took her to the island where she was adopted by Hippolyta?

Hmm...Id wanna do a young Donna backup and recanonize some of those silver age Wonder Girl stories as being her. I wanna see her befriend a merboy and an alien shapeshister. Travel to other islands and deal with kaiju bird monsters and 'sea-taurs' Befriend a bird boy and travel to their cloud cities and learn the ways of the Amazons.
