"We come into this world alone and we leave the same way. The time we spent in between - time spent alive, sharing, learning together... is all that makes life worth living." - Jean Grey
Yeah, it would probably be more understandable if they explained it better or Donna got more dialogue about it.
Sure, but isn’t that essentially what all the Bana’s want, including Artemis..? It still doesn’t make much sense to me without a little explanation as to why Faruka would even be ok with this considering her apparent disdain for all things Themysciran. Considering that their whole beef is that they are treated as “other” or “less than” by their Themysciran counterparts, wouldn’t the Bana’s consider it an insult that they’re not even represented in this contest by one of their own?
This would have been an excellent use of the back up story pages. Devout them to Donna and her decision process, even though it's exactly what she would have done, it would have been nice to see some thought put into what and why she was doing it.
More Donna by Otto Schmidt
DC: Dick Grayson, Wally West, Donna Troy, Yara Flor, Titans
Some of my favorite Mangas: One Piece, Slam Dunk, Fullmetal Alchemist, HunterXHunter, Vinland Saga, Monster, Berserk, Vagabond.
Current reading: Jujutsu Kaisen, Chainsaw Man, Spy X Family, Kaiju Nº8, Blue Lock, Dandadan.
The decision is easy: Donna wants to help and give equality to those whl need ut, and Faruka sees her as a very powerful asset. You don't have to outthink it
A back-up? Well, yes, but there wasn't space for one. A back-up for Artemis and the Bana on 781-4 was moat needed
Such a waste of a storyline. But she looked great though.
