She's a better superhero, a better friend, a better god, and she could probably drink Thor under the table if Aaron wasn't hellbent on depicting him as a dumb fratboy.

I can imagine an Aaron Superman pitch equivalent to his Thor run….

Let’s make his cape the source of his powers, make Pa Kent a drunken coward, establish that Superman regularly cheats on Lois, Lois dons the cape and instantly becomes more effective than Superman, etc, etc.

Not sure it would sell well.

Big mystery to me why anybody bought that run. I bailed out after taking a few trade paperback collections out of library.

I always thought it was because of Russell Dauterman immaculate pencils.

It was some gorgeous art to offset the iffy writing.

Art doesn't look like the strongest of this run. Sif's hair is completely wrong. Loki looks bad.
