Thor Odinson, God of Thunder Appreciation 2022

It would be fun to find a creative team that could tackle a Thor/Asgard mythos from the perspective of a space-god and not a human, trying to inject humanism into a story about magical beings.

The Asgardians, and especially the Odin/Thor family tree need a more regal injection into their characterization and to stop being presented as "any other family with issues." There are plenty of "accessible" human characters to be able to fill that void.

I miss some of that pure, wholesome, fantasy and scope.

Cates has a terrible habit of repetition

He's giving Hulk "his own knull" as well

He has decent characterization and it's sad that's a rare things in current comics

I thought it was just me. I've followed the book a bit and I'm not seeing much originality--wasn't the Donald Blake thing already a done deal, and the resolution to it ignored with the recent story? Haven't we gone what seems like forever with Thor having hammer trouble? And now with.............................................. .................................................. ..............................................spoi lers, know of no other way to hide them.............................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................all the (pointless) death and destruction can we honestly expect those characters to be forever gone ? Characters who were important to the myth and legacy of Thor, now all dead just for a second-run story about the hammer?

Well it's the closest we've come to a comics-accurate Wolverine suit on the big screen if nothing else.

I'm not a fan of that outfit but I see a lot of MCU twitter folks love it. To me the helmet looks like one Starlord has in Marvel Future Fight.
