This run feels a bit lacking in the Carol character development aspect.

So, the next story arc is supposed to run through 43-49....will #50 be a stand alone anniversary issue, or the start of the next arc?
Could it maybe be both Jelly’s and the book’s wrap-up issue??

I'm really liking Davill's artwork. I hope he sticks around for a while.
Actually, that says more about the distance between the academy and the audience in terms of casting and the impressions. Early readers of Ms. would never have equated the what'ev i'm cool hotshot with Carol that Larson did so very well. So I'm not really blaming the actress here but the direction the movie, and hence the comics which follow their lead, for turning the character into something they think is more inspiring to the demographic they think is the target. Honestly it is more of a trade-off of one slim following for another but the virture signaling in Hollywood is more important than bottom line calculations.

Can someone clarify something to me about Carol's memory loss? So she sacrificed her memories to defeat a villain in KSD's run, and Kit promised to show her all her life. Did she ever do another memory-getting-back thing with Professor X like she did after Rogue stole her memories originally, or is her knowledge of her life based off of what a little kid thinks her life is? (jk, I'm sure other people told her about her past too) In that miniseries where Carol goes back home she seems to have her memories and emotional attachment to them just fine since she has all these anxiety attacks and flashbacks to her father abusing her brothers. So maybe she randomly regained her memories offpanel? Basically I just want to know if Carol is a legacy hero who can't even remember the person she's supposed to be a legacy to.
