Happy 104th birthday, Steve. But shouldn't he only be 100? Isn't his date of birth 4th July 1922?

Yeah! I remember The Adventures of Captain America (1991). Wonderful reading experience & highly recommended.

Nope. That would make him 105, not 104, as next week's issue is set on 4th July, his birthday. You're looking for something that places his birth in 1918.
In fact, the wiki page for the first issue of Adventures mentions that the 1917 date contradicts a later mention of a 1922 birth date.

WHY does that look like MCU Peggy, when it was published 20 years before she appeared on screen? Wasn't she usually blonde until they changed her appearance a few years ago to match Hayley Atwell?

Apparently someone cracked the code on the Captain America #4 cover. Major points:
- The Son of Rogers will begin the Cold War
- The board is set for the new revolution.
- The power runs through Latveria.
- Betrayal is coming to the house of Carter.
- Mental organism designed only for control.
The Latveria thing is interesting. I think I remember reading that Sam might be getting involved there, and I'm sure the two Cap books will cross over at some point.
"Son of Rogers" could refer to Ian. Which I'm hoping since I am not down with Secret Kid storylines.
"Betrayal to House of Carter" likely doesn't bode well for Peggy or Sharon. The writers mentioned Sharon is spending the first 6 issues on her own mission, and will be absent, so I wonder if it has to do with that?
Sentinel of Liberty #1 is out today and I must say… I really loved this first issue.
I absolutely loved this first issue! It was such a great look at Steve himself and building up a new community of new allies/enemies while also giving us some great Captain America action. I'm also super excited to see how this mystery plays out and Bucky's story. There's another code to crack in this issue, I won't spoil it here but for those of you who are doing it, just know it's there.
I like Sharon a lot, but part of why she's made an impression on me is that Ed Brubaker's run was going on when I first started reading comics. Being a teenage girl at the time, I loved her kick ass attitude, how she stood up to Steve, and the overall drama and romance of that period.
