Triangular. Classic round one. Magnetic one (he briefly used this when he returned after being frozen, though I don't know if it's still cannon). The Captain's adamantium one. The Captain's vibranium one. Post-Heroes Return Cap's energy shield. I count six, but I might have forgotten some.

Well, if they ever decide to address it, they can just say that in between issues, Rogers decided that he didn't like his shield being damaged after all, and had Stark repair it.

Which makes sense, really: Rogers may be sentimental enough about inanimate objects having "character" to like the look briefly, but on second or third thought he's going to simply want the weapon he depends on to save his life and the lives of others to be in 100 percent perfect shape.

I wish Steve would leave the Avengers and assemble his own team like during the Captain days. Steve, Sam, Bucky, D-Man, Free Spirit, Vagabond...and maybe have Rikki Barnes along for good measure.
